Eligibility Criteria for IIM CAT 2023 Exam
Age Limit: No age limit applies to candidates applying for the CAT examination conducted by IIMs.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% for SC, ST, and PwD categories) awarded by a recognized University or educational institution. Candidates in their final year of Bachelor’s degree or awaiting results can also apply provisionally.
CAT Application Fee
Interested candidates need to pay the following application fees during the online CAT application submission process:
•General/OBC: Rs 2400/-
•SC/ST/PWD: Rs 1200/-
The fee can be paid using credit/debit cards, net banking, e-challan, or UPI.
How to Apply for IIM CAT?
Candidates can complete the CAT 2023 registration process by following these step-by-step instructions:
1.Visit the official CAT exam 2023 website at iimcat.ac.in.
2.On the homepage, click on “New Candidate Registration.”
3.A new page will open where you should enter the following details:
•Candidate’s Name
•Date of Birth
•Email Address
•Country
•Mobile Number
•Captcha
4.After entering the required information, click on “Generate OTP.” An OTP will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number. Use this OTP to verify your email ID and mobile number.
5.Now, log in again using the CAT ID and password you created and provide the following details:
•Personal Details
•Additional Personal Details
•Communication Address
•Emergency Contact Details
•Upload Documents (following prescribed format and size)
6.Enter academic details for SSC/ Class 10, HSC/ Class 12, Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree, and other professional degrees.
7.Include only full-time work experience if applicable.
8.Select your preferred exam cities. You can choose up to six cities where you would like to take the exam.
9.Pay the CAT 2023 registration fee using one of the available payment methods.
10.Finally, take a printout of the completed CAT 2023 application for future reference.
