ADRE 2.0
Assam has established the Assam Direct Recruitment Commission to fulfill the commitment made by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to create 100,000 job opportunities in the state. Under this initiative, candidates will have the convenience of applying for all eligible positions across various government departments through a single consolidated application process, eliminating the need for multiple online form submissions. Moreover, Admit Cards, Results, and Merit Lists will also be published collectively.
The first phase of Assam Direct Recruitment has been successfully conducted, and selected candidates have already received their appointments. The government is now preparing for Assam Direct Recruitment Phase 2, also known as ADRE 2.0, which will maintain the same eligibility criteria and documentation requirements as the first phase.
The official recruitment notification for ADRE 2.0 is expected to be released prior to October 2023, and the online application process is set to commence in October 2023.
Assam Direct Recruitment 2023 Information
Position Titles: Various Posts in Grade III and Grade IV
Total Vacancies: 22,765 positions
Commission Name: State-Level Recruitment Commission (SLRC)
Organization Name: Government of Assam
Grade 3 Category 1 Position Titles: Accountant, Cashier, Junior Assistant, LDA, Stenographer, etc.

Educational Requirements: A simple Graduation & Graduation with a Computer Certificate/Diploma of at least 6 months duration.
Grade 3 Category 2 Position Titles: Field Assistant, Feldman, Foreman, Section Assistant, Soil Conservation Field Worker Junior, Agriculture Extension Officer, etc.

Educational Requirements: HS Passed or equivalent (Some posts require HS in the science stream)

Candidates should be at least 18 years old and not more than 40 years old as of 01/01/2023.
Age Relaxation: Upper age limits are relaxable by category as follows:

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian citizens with a registration number in employment exchanges of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: It is mandatory to have a registration number in employment exchanges of Assam.
